FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH PICK UP TWO TROPHIES AT THE METAL HAMMER ‘GOLDEN GODS’ AWARDS
US ROCKERS Five Finger Death Punch were double winners at the annual Metal Hammer ‘Golden Gods’ Awards at the O2 Arena in London on June 14th 2010.
The band – who made a main-stage appearance at this year’s Download Festival in the UK, as well as playing at the Awards themselves – were voted ‘Best Breakthrough Act’ by the readers of the magazine; FFDP guitarist Zoltan Bathory also won the ‘Dimebag Darrell Shredder Award’, a trophy that was presented to him by Hellyeah drummer Vinnie Paul, brother of the late Dimebag.
FFDP’s latest album ‘War Is The Answer’ is currently on release via Spinefarm Records UK, supported by the single/video ‘Bad Company’ – a version of the classic song first recorded in 1974 by the UK band of the same name.
